Extra caution is required when installing the side frame adapter since it increases the distance between VENDLET and the mattress by an additional 6-18 cm compared to the normal installation of a VENDLET-system (adjusted in a range of 3 cm). Especially the distances between the mattress and the VENDLET, as well as the distance between the bed headboards and the VENDLET are important.
The kit includes:
- 2 pcs. of 50x20 mm square tube
- 4 sets of complete mounting brackets for the frame
- 8 pcs. of M10x40 bolts for the bracket
- 8 pcs. of M8x45 bolts for the bracket
- 4 pcs. of M8x35 bolts for mounting the 50x20 mm square tube
NOTE: The side frame adapter increases the weight of the VENDLET by 16,4 kg
Side Frame Adapter
On some beds the side frame is hidden underneath the mattress support platform which makes traditional mounting of the VENDLET impossible. When mounting the side frame adapter, the necessary space for mounting the VENDLET is secured.
The side frame adapter can be used for all VENDLET models but is especially suitable for VENDLET Standard and VENDLET V5S / VENDLET V5S Speed Adjust.
